Canto Fresco

Canto Fresco is one of the better and reasonably-priced restaurants at the Astrodome,Tacloban City. It was my first time dining there last week and was impressed with the presentation and (of course) taste of the food. We ordered pizza, pesto pork chops and fish served with fresh vegetables and rice. We were all happy with our food and definitely will come back to Canto Fresco to discover more sumptous dishes.
Pizza - I like the crispiness of the pizza's thin crust, the delectably stretchy melted mozzarella cheese and generous servings of the meat toppings.

Fish -  My friend ordered this dish and was satisfied with it. The freshness of the fish enhanced its  srumptious taste.

Pesto Pork Chops -  J and I were quite pleased with this dish. The pesto sauce was flavorful that made eating an otherwise ordinary pork chop enjoyable.

There are a few things, however, that needs to be improved in Canto Fresco: service and acoustics. Service was slow that we had to make several follow-ups of our orders. On the other hand, the restuarant noise was so bad that we had to raise our voices to carry on a conversation, which, distracted the customers sitting beside our table. I think they need to soundproof the restaurant so its warm and comfy ambiance will be preserved.
