HK Disneyland

J and I went to HK Disneyland last weekend with my mom, nephew and niece. After carefully studying all the packages offered by different travel agencies, Cebu Pac's travel promo, and PAL's Swingaround promo, we decided to book the airline and hotel tickets on our own via online booking. It still came out relatively cheaper because we booked them as early as March. Another factor for not availing of travel packages is that we dont want our movements limited or time-bound, that is, you are only given a specific amount of time to enjoy the place; plus we don't want the kids to  go through the customary factory visit because they will become impatient and bored.

Cebu Pacific Airlines
We got our tickets for 8k, more or less.

Disney's Hollywood Hotel
We availed of their Early Bird promo, that is, you get a 25% discount on the room if you booked 21 days before the scheduled check-in date. Thus, our Garden View room rate was HKD1,125 for Saturday and HKD975 for Sunday.

It's our second time in HK Disneyland and this place never fails to make us happy. I don't how we did it but we were able to cover more ground, that is, enjoy many rides and attractions than we did the last time we were here.

In ordinary circumstances, J and I would not stay at Disney's because I'm sure we can still find a much cheaper hotel room in Kowloon like YMCA. But since we were travelling with kids, it was convenient for us to stay near the Disneyland Park.

It's a totally fulfilling Disney experience seeing the priceless smiles of the kids. One can feel their tremendous happiness and excitement everytime they shout with glee during a ride, earnestly clap after a perfomance or their eyes lit up whenever they see a Disney character.

Mickey Mouse here, there, and everywhere
