Ivatan Food

Pancit Ivatan

Tatus - Batanes' Coconut Crab: BEFORE

AFTER

Mavid Batanes

Mavid is the Ivatan word for beautiful. Batanes lives up to its reputation as a must-see destination in the Philippines. J and I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy Batanes' beauty (since Batanes is so far-away and the airfare is prohibitive). We love Batanes' natural beauty, heritage and people. No words can accurately capture the captivating and rustic Batanes scenery. So, I'll just let the photos do the talking (sorry, for the limited photos, I'll try to update more)

Options

Now that i have lots of free time, i think i should:

1. Blog more frequently and upload pictures here
2. Learn how to cook edible and delicious meals
3. Clean my closet and sell the clothes (since i need moolah)
4. Go to Quiapo and buy materials for my dream business: THE BRACK and Bubbly Charms

hmm... where do i begin

I need structure in my life right now. I have to wake up early everyday and try to stay away from the TV, or else, it will another day wasted.

Keep Rolling

For months now, job losses have dominated the headlines here and abroad. Job reports in the US states that the unemployment rate is at 7.6% while here in the Philippines it's projected to swell to 800,000 this year.

Sad to say, I am now part of that statistics. My former employer, a Telecom giant that ventured into LPO, decided to close down its LPO unit. Thus, making the moss-covered stone to start rolling once again.

Right now, i'm still rolling down, down, down to nowhere.
